Hollishill Maine Coon Cats stands behind every kitten we place. We ask that you review our Health Page to understand the possible health risks you may face when owning a Maine Coon Cat.

Hollishill guarantees that our cattery is free of Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP) at present. The breeder will refund full purchase price of this kitten if it dies as a result of said virus within 30 days following delivery. The kitten must have been examined by a veterinarian within the 5 day period following delivery required in this guarantee or the FIP portion of this guarantee will not apply. Evidence of said virus must be provided in the form of a signed affidavit from a licensed veterinarian or pathologist.  The report must state that a post mortem tissue sample was taken from this kitten and tested positive for the FIP virus.

Hollishill guarantees that our breeding cats and this kitten are FELV/FIV negative.

The Buyer has 10 business days to have this kitten examined by their Veterinarian and tested for the FELV/FIV viruses if desired. We do not recommend nor do we use the FELV, FIV or FIP vaccines as they are not proven effective and can cause health issues. If the buyer uses these vaccines on this kitten the entire Health Guarantee will become null and void.

The breeder will accept this kitten for a full refund of the purchase price if this kitten is returned within 10 business days accompanied by a veterinary certificate that indicates this kitten has a serious health problem.

The Breeder warrants that this kitten is genetically sound but does not guarantee this kitten will not develop HCM in its lifetime.  The Breeder will replace this kitten with another at no additional cost if this kitten dies of HCM within 15 months following delivery. A necropsy report signed by a licensed veterinarian must be presented to the Breeder. The Breeder will refund to the Buyer, the cost of the necropsy report that states this kittens death was due to and caused by HCM. This guarantee does not apply if the death of this kitten was due to or caused by any other heart condition.

The Breeder guarantees that this kitten is in good health on delivery and will not reimburse the Buyer for any costs incurred as a result of the following conditions, should they occur:
