We are so glad that you may be considering a kitten from Hollishill Maine Coon Cats.  It is of utmost importance to us that you understand the health concerns that may be involved with owning a Maine Coon Cat.  We suggest that you read the Health Page and related links carefully before contacting us.

We prefer to place our kittens locally or within driving distance but may consider shipping a kitten for what we consider an ideal home.  You may have to answer several questions so that we can determine the type of environment you are offering to one of my kittens.  The kittens are precious little spirits to us so we'll want to know all you can tell us about your home.

We will allow potential owners to visit the kittens at 8 weeks of age after their first shots.  If you wish to reserve a kitten a 50% deposit is required.  If you change your mind or cancel the kitten before the kitten reaches 12 weeks of age your deposit will be refunded in full.  If you change your mind or cancel the kitten on or after it has reached 12 weeks of age we will refund 50% of your deposit only.

The kittens are kept until they are 12 to 15 weeks of age or longer if air travel is involved.  We give our kittens their first shots, a worming and a complete veterinary check-up before they go home.  A Health Guarantee is given with every kitten we place.

We will consider placement of show/breeder kittens with reputable breeders who screen their breeding stock annually for HCM, are a registered cattery, are actively showing and employ a reasonable practice of pedigree and genetic analysis for breeding purposes.
